ITINERARY

• You’ll be picked up to start the day with a beautiful scenic drive to the historical Gympie Station for your one-way journey on the Mary Valley Rattler classic steam locomotive. You will have time to explore the historical station and its museum, get a close look at the classic steam engine, buy a souvenir, and grab a drink from the station cafe if you wish.
• All aboard!! You will then depart on your train for a one-way, one-hour experience on the Mary Valley Rattler classic steam locomotive to the historical Amamoor station. Here you will have time to appreciate this small country town and watch the steam engine get turned around on a historical turntable.
• Next we take a nice country drive to a picturesque little town called Imbil, previously nominated as one of Queensland’s top tiny tourist towns. Here we’ll explore the corners of this pretty little town, including the town lookout with a panoramic views of the Mary Valley.
• We then continue our scenic country drive to the heart of the Mary Valley, Kenilworth, where you will be treated to a delicious lunch and drink of your choosing. Don’t eat too much for lunch, because you will want to save room for the delicious donuts, chocolates and cheeses on offer in the main street of Kenilworth, that you will have free time to explore after lunch.
• Your final experience on this tour will be a 1.2km guided fig tree walk through giant figs and a forest alive with birdsongs. This walk is paved and flat and optional. Alternatively, guest who don't feel comfortable doing this walk can enjoy the creekside park nearby the conjunction of the creek and the Mary River.
• We will then complete our journey with another country drive towards the coast to drop you at your accommodation by no later than 4:30pm, in time for sunset and dinner.

ITINERARY

• Your day will begin with a visit to Noosa's very own organic marketplace specialising in organic food and wellness. Here you will have time explore this wonderful location and grab a coffee from the in-house coffee roasters if you choose.
• We’ll then go and see one of the hidden lakes of the Noosa Everglades system with beautiful views over the lake and an array of birdlife. 
• After a very short drive we will explore some interesting features of the creek that winds its way through Noosaville and Noosa Heads, including a walk over Noosa’s most historical footbridge.
• Next we head to a lookout with panoramic views of this paradise we call Noosa, overlooking Noosa's villages, beaches, river, and hinterland.
• As it’s time for lunch, we will take you to a restaurant in Sunshine Beach with some of the best ocean views on the coast. Your lunch and drink are included. Time permitting, you may have a little time to explore this village too.
• Next we will reveal Noosaville’s hidden hub for you to explore. This hub has something for everyone from Noosa’s own chocolate factory to Noosa’s own breweries, gin distillery and everything else in between, including iconic surf stores, photographer’s gallery, famous antique store and more. 
• Next stop is Tewantin where you will be guided through Noosa’s historical centre along the river towards the Noosa Marina where we admire an art exhibit at the Noosa Regional Gallery on the way.
• Explore the shops and boats and bridge at Noosa Marina before boarding the Noosa Ferry.
• Once you have boarded the Noosa River Ferry, you will experience the last stretch of this wonderful day on the Noosa River as you journey along the river from Tewantin back to Noosa Heads. The ferry fare is included.
• Upon arriving at the Sofitel stop at Noosa Heads on the ferry, we will pick you up in the bus and drop you back to your accommodation by approximately 4:30pm, unless of course you would rather walk, if your accommodation is close by.

• We then journey further along the ridgeline to the Maleny region where we will take you on a guided nature walk through a mesmerising remnant old-growth rainforest with giant native trees, many singing birds, pademelons (wallabies) and more. This walk is 1.2km and relatively flat. For those who don't feel comfortable doing this walk, you can joyfully spend your time at the entrance, where there is a discovery centre and cafe with views of the Glass House Mountains.


• Following our nature walk we take a short drive to another panoramic lookout where you will experience one of the most stunning and photographed views in Australia, with unimpeded views of the picturesque Glass House Mountains.


• We now indulge is some of the finest artisan Belgian chocolates in the region with a chocolate tasting included at Maleny's favourite chocolate factory from Monday to Saturday and with Montville's favourite chocolate makers on Sunday.

• You will be picked up at 9am for a short drive to our first stop at the beautiful Peregian Beach Village. Here you can explore the wonderful variety of boutique locally owned stores in what’s becoming one of Noosa’s favourite shopping hideaways. Make sure you save some time to also walk through the park to the secluded Peregian surf beach.
• After another short drive we will take an easy climb to the top of the 70 metre high Emu Mountain, which is not much of a mountain, but offers incredible panoramic views of the area. Our experienced guide will point out some endemic plants that cannot be found anywhere else in the world.
• Next we visit Coolum Beach, home of one of Australia’s best surfers, where we will take in the sea views from the clifftops of Point Arkwright before walking the coastal boardwalk down to Coolum Beach esplanade.
• As it is now time for lunch, you will be seated at your table overlooking the Coolum surf, where you will indulge in your included lunch with a drink. Once you’ve eaten you can decide whether to stay for another drink or go explore the beach, park, or shops until it’s time to leave.
• A scenic drive south of Coolum will land us in a hidden part of the Sunshine Coast called Mudjimba where you can peer across at Old Woman Island from this little paradise and get some sand between the toes.
• Our most southerly stop of the tour could easily be your favourite as we walk the Maroochy river mouth and visit the smallest island on the coast, with uninterrupted views of Maroochydore and Cotton Tree.
• A tour along this stretch of the Sunshine Coast would not be complete without a cold drink at possibly the best positioned surf club in Australia, with incredible views and a newly refurbished restaurant and bar. We’ll get the first round of drinks and let you sit back and reflect on your day or go explore a little before we leave.
• One last short drive will get you dropped back to your accommodation by approximately 4:30pm in time for sunset and dinner.

• Next we will arrive in the heart of the Noosa Hinterland, Pomona, where the Noosa Shire was born and where one of the regions favourite gin distilleries will be awaiting our arrival for a gin-tasting or equivalent drink of your choice. You will have time to let the hair down at this wonderful destination and possibly go for wonder through the beautiful Pomona village. Food is available for purchase at the distillery and each venue we visit thereafter. 
• We will then go deeper into the country to Noosa's favourite vineyard, where you will indulge a premium wine tasting with a cheese platter for the group and appreciate the serenity of the surrounding grapevines and rolling hills. [Not included on Thursdays or 23-Dec to 1-Jan].
• Our next stop is at the local's favourite brewery, which is a true craft brewery established in a 90-year old historical joinery building with the picturesque backdrop of Mt Cooran. Here you will settle in and enjoy a beer-tasting paddle or equivalent drink or your choice, and possibly some live music. 
• On Thursday and Sunday we will finish our tour with schooner or equivalent drink of your choice at one of Noosaville's local brewery melting pots where you can sit back and take in the atmosphere or possibly get the feet tapping to some live music. Here you will have enough time to explore this charming place, and do one of the experiences on offer there, such as the ginger factory tour, live bee show, ride the ginger train, or ride on the overboard boat ride. There is also a nut shop and coffee roaster across the road that you can explore.
• We then go on a specially selected country drive to Eumundi through picturesque landscapes. In Eumundi you will have time to explore this historic little town, including the Eumundi Markets, Australia's largest artisan market on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
• Next, we make our way through the Eumundi Range to Cooroy for lunch and a drink at a boutique cafe that supports local growers. Here you will also have free time to explore Noosa's most westerly village, that could include the art exhibits at the Cooroy Butter Factory Arts Centre (open Tues - Sun), a historical walk through the town, or a play at the Hinterland Adventure Playground.
• You will then be taken on a leisurely 1.5km guided walk around the beautiful Noosa Botanic Gardens nestled alongside Lake McDonald. This walk is relatively flat with a few gradual inclines. This guided walk is optional and guests who are not comfortable participating in the walk, are welcome to relax in the gardens or by the lake instead.
• Our last stop on this amazing tour is at Mt Tinbeerwah where you will be treated to some of the best panoramic views of Noosa and the Sunshine Coast. This requires a 500m walk up a gradual incline to the summit. An alternative is an easy 125m walk to a lookout with amazing views, for those not comfortable participating in the summit walk. *Please note that due to track maintenance on Mt Tinbeerwah until 15-September, this stop will be replaced with Laguna Lookout until Mt Tinbeerwah track maintenance is complete.
• A short final drive will have you back to your accommodation no later than approximately 5pm, in time for sunset and dinner.

This Rainbow Beach Private Tour is unique as we take the inland route via the beautiful Noosa Hinterland and Great Sandy National Park.

Itinerary

• You will be picked up at 8am for a beautiful country drive to our first stop for a visit to the very popular Cooloola Berries between May and September OR another popular coffee stop between October and April, for the opportunity to purchase their fresh farm produce or grab yourself a tea or coffee
• The next leg of out journey will get us to a clear sand filtered fresh water creek in the Cooloola section of the Great Sandy National Park where you can freshen up and possibly see some of the creek's local residents such as the large long-finned eel  
• A short drive will take us through the Rainbow Beach township to the ever-growing Carlo Sandblow on its outskirts, part of the Cooloola section of the Great Sandy National Park. Here you will be taken on a guided nature walk onto Carlo Sandblow to explore this amazing natural landscape that offers incredible views of the distant coloured sands, Double Island Point and K'Gari (Fraser Island).
  
• All this exploring will have built up an appetite, so it's a good time to have some lunch, and there is no better place to eat than at the local beachside restaurant where you will eat your included lunch overlooking the beautiful Rainbow Beach and Wide Bay with views of the distant coloured sands and Double Island Point.
• Once you've eaten lunch you will have enough free time to explore Rainbow Beach shopping strip, its beautiful patrolled beach, where you can cool off between the flags if you wish
• A trip to Rainbow Beach wouldn't be complete without a closer look at K'Gari (Fraser Island). You will be taken to the nearest mainland point to the island, where you can look across the channel to K'Gari and do a little nature walk too
• With a reasonable journey home, we break it up with a visit to a craft brewery and farm on the way where you can reminisce over a refreshing drink and maybe some live music on weekends
• We will finish the day with another lovely country drive to drop you at your accommodation by approximately 5pm, in time for sunset and dinner.

ITINERARY

• You will be picked up from your accommodation at 8am and taken to our first stop where you will enjoy morning tea and coffee/tea at the locals favourite coffee roasters cafe, and explore the wares of a local pottery and clothes designer.
• A beautiful drive through the Eumundi hillside will land us at Eumundi's best panoramic lookout offering a bird's eye view of the picturesque countryside.
• From here we’ll head down the hill and arrive at Australia’s favourite artisan marketplace, Eumundi Markets. You'll first be given a little bus tour around the markets where we will highlight points of interest and ensure you know where everything is.
• You will now have plenty of free time to explore, indulge, shop and be entertained throughout the markets for approximately 2.5 hours. Eumundi Markets has it all, from locally made arts and crafts, local produce and plenty of stalls to multiple entertainers.
• We will then pick you up and take you to Noosa's newest restaurant/bar, The Doonan where you will indulge in your included gourmet lunch. This is Doonan's best restaurant with delicious food and luxurious ambience. A glass of wine or equivalent drink is included also.
• From here you will be dropped back at your accommodation by no later than 3:30pm to enjoy the rest of the afternoon. You will be offered the option to be dropped at one of Noosaville or Noosa Head's breweries, distilleries or restaurants on the way if you prefer.

• Our day begins with a nice country drive as we make our way to the biggest of the Glass House Mountains, Mt Beerwah. On our bus journey there we will wind our way through various other spectacular Glass House Mountains.
• You will be guided on a short walk into the Glass House Mountains National Park to a striking viewing area of Mt Beerwah, the biggest of all the Glass House Mountains.
• Another scenic drive through forest and farms will offer us incredible views of Mt Coonowrin and Mt Beerwah, then land us at a lookout with a historic fire tower and views of all the many peaks of the Glass House Mountains and beyond. 
• A delicious lunch with a drink is included on this tour at a wonderful lookout cafe with a beautiful landscape view. Here you also have an opportunity to buy a souvenir if you wish.
• After lunch we head back into the Glass House Mountains National Park to the best viewing location of Mt Tibrogargan and another little mountain we'll keep as a surprise.
• We will then wind our way between more of the Glass House Mountains towards the town called Glass House Mountains where you can explore and maybe buy a souvenir or some local relish.
• Next we visit an ancient cultural site, with evidence of activities from long ago by the local aboriginal and the early settlers.
• Another scenic drive will land us in the most picturesque part of Maleny with some of the best views of the Glass House Mountains and we take you on a guided walk through ancient old-growth forest with giant trees and plenty of wildlife.
• We will then make our way home back down the mountain and have you back at you accommodation no later than 5pm.
